Kerri Kaminer, Owner
I moved to Colorado Springs in 1996 and graduated from UCCS in 1997 with a degree in Political Science. I later served for many years as Executive Director of the Cripple Creek Casino Association.
After becoming a mother, I sought a career that would provide both flexibility and purpose. In 2005, I began my real estate journey as a door knocker for Miguel Silva at A-1 Real Estate Professionals. Under his mentorship, I was trained from the ground up in foreclosures. I earned my Associate Broker license in 2007 and remained on the front lines during the early years of the market crash. During that time, we developed deep expertise in navigating the complexities of short sales.
In 2009, I founded Serenity Short Sales, focusing exclusively on helping homeowners facing foreclosure. I continue to personally connect with those in distress — still “knocking on doors” — and have expanded my services to negotiate short sales on behalf of agents throughout Colorado Springs and Denver.
Helping families through some of their most difficult financial moments has been incredibly rewarding. Today, I am passionate about educating real estate agents who want to better understand the foreclosure and short sale process so they can serve their clients and our community with confidence and integrity.
